As travel photographers and videographers we bring a lot of gear while traveling. However, we also have to be very selective with the gear we bring, because travelling means that you will have limited space. Since we are both photographers and videographers, it can be hard to be selective. That’s because we use different gear for photography than for videography. We have been travelling around with camera gear for about 5 years now and are still struggling with what to bring sometimes. However, we have learned a lot and we would love to help you make the right decisions as well. Read more about our travel photography gear below!
Sony A7IV: Our favourite camera for both photography and videography

When it comes to both photography and videography, it is hard to find a good camera that can produce beautiful high quality photos as well as high quality videos. We were completely done carrying multiple cameras and lenses on difficult hikes or nights out. That’s when we bought the Sony A7IV.
In our opinion, the Sony A7IV is the perfect camera for anyone who likes to capture photos and videos. You can easily switch between photography and filmmaking with one slide button. This full-frame camera is relatively lightweight, fast, easy to use and the battery provides long-lasting power, which makes it the perfect camera for travelers.

Sony A7IV
The Sony A7IV is our go to allround camera for videography and photography. It’s a full-frame camera, which allows you to create the sharpest images! It’s also possible to shoot in LOG.

Sony 16-35 F2.8
This Sony 16-35 is perfect for wide shots. We use it for both photography and videography. The sharpness is insane!

Sigma 70-200 F2.8
The Sigma 70-200 F2.8 for Sony is new and blew our minds for the price! Keep in mind that it is more heavy than the Sony 70-200 GM ii.
